I’ve always been drawn to things with a story
Homes and buildings, certainly, but also the objects people designed, made, used, and cared for. Vintage cars, early electric and automatic watches, old cameras, even a great vintage tie all have something to say about the time and people they came from.
What interests me isn't simply that something is old. It's the originality, the craftsmanship, the details, and the history that survives with it.
That same curiosity shapes the way I approach real estate. I notice the things that give a home its character—and I believe they're worth understanding before deciding what comes next.
For me, stewardship isn't about resisting change. It's about recognizing what matters, making thoughtful choices, and leaving something worth passing on.
WHY STEWARDSHIP?
Because what we choose to keep says something about what we value.
I don't believe everything old needs to be preserved simply because it's old. But I do believe we should understand what we have before deciding to change it.
A beautifully proportioned room, an original window, hand-set tile, old-growth wood, unusual hardware—these things carry the choices and craftsmanship of another time. Once they're gone, they're often impossible to truly replace.
Stewardship means recognizing those qualities while still allowing a home to evolve. It's the same philosophy I bring to the things I collect and care for: respect what makes something original, understand its story, and make thoughtful choices about what comes next.
EXPERIENCE MATTERS
A love of remarkable homes is only part of the job.
I’ve spent more than 13 years helping buyers and sellers navigate real estate, and I’ve held my California broker’s license for more than five years.
Along the way, I’ve represented everything from everyday homes to an 1895 Victorian in Pasadena, and I’ve helped a past client navigate historic designation and the Mills Act—an experience that deepened my interest in the practical side of preservation.
That experience matters because character homes can raise questions that go beyond a typical real estate transaction. Understanding the house is important. So is understanding the transaction, the market, inspections, disclosures, negotiations, and the decisions that ultimately protect my client.
Stewardship is the philosophy. Experience is what allows me to put it into practice.

That curiosity doesn’t end with houses. I’ve long been interested in objects that reflect the design, technology, and craftsmanship of their time—from vintage cars to early electric and automatic watches, old cameras, and other pieces that have survived with their character intact.
What fascinates me isn’t simply age. It’s originality, provenance, and the evidence of the people who designed, made, used, and cared for something before it reached me.
The instinct is the same: look closely, understand what you have, and appreciate what makes it unlike anything else.
A PERSONAL APPROACH
The homes I care most about are the ones that have something to say.
Real estate is ultimately about people, but the places we choose matter. They become part of our lives, our families, and our communities.
I consider it a privilege to help someone find a home worth caring for—or help a longtime owner pass one on to its next steward.
